The Australian educational system strives to be inclusive to pupils of all abilities. In addition, a few tests are given to Australian students in order to assess their abilities and knowledge. One such test is the National Assessment Program-Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN), which provides data to authorities so that they can build suitable programs to help pupils improve their numeracy and literacy. In year 3, many students prepare NAPLAN practice tests online in order to excel in the formal NAPLAN assessment.
