How Can The NAPLAN Test Be Beneficial For School Students?

NAPLAN stands for ‘The National Assessment Program — Literacy and Numeracy’ and is a national assessment taken annually in May. Students are assessed in reading, writing, language conventions (spelling, grammar, and punctuation), and mathematics. NAPLAN is delivered by ACARA (Australian Curriculum, Assessment, and Reporting Authority). In addition, each state has a test administration authority responsible for delivering and implementing NAPLAN in their state. Students and parents can often feel anxious while waiting for the NAPLAN practice test results. Schools receive reports from your child’s NAPLAN testing between mid-September and mid-August, depending on the state testing authority.
